Dynamic. Ready to Go Anywhere
Gait training has come a long way since we introduced our first model in the 1980s, and our Pacer keeps evolving to meet our customers' needs. Over the years, your suggestions have helped us keep our design at the cutting edge.
Why Dynamic?
Walking is complex. When we talk about dynamic gait training, we mean the often unobserved yet significant body and weight shifts that occur in typical walking patterns. There is a growing consensus in the therapy community that a well-positioned pelvis, combined with dynamic movement, is critical for successful gait training. A dedicated gait trainer like the Pacer helps achieve this correct positioning and enables the dynamic weight-bearing and weight-shifting needed for a more natural gait pattern and easier stepping.
Because the Pacer can be configured in so many ways, it adapts to clients of every ability in every setting. Everything about the Pacer encourages progress, so nothing stands between clients and the places they want to go. That is the versatility and reliability you expect from Rifton. The Pacer can easily be configured to meet your client's every need. Choose between dynamic and standard upper frames, and pair them with standard, utility, and treadmill/stability bases.

Completely Redesigned.
At Rifton we believe everyone deserves the chance to ride a bike. Cycling is more than fun — it is therapeutic. We know the health benefits of cycling, especially for children with disabilities: improved leg strength, posture, balance and range of motion. We have also seen how it helps them socialize and interact with friends and family. Adaptive tricycles help people who cannot walk experience the joy and freedom of independent movement.
Throughout our forty years of building adaptive tricycles, we have constantly worked to make our designs more accessible and more functional. The new Rifton Adaptive Tricycle brings together our experience and your input with the latest materials and technology to create the best ride yet. Sleek, sturdy, adaptive — and great fun.
Fortunately, even insurers and other funding sources are beginning to understand that for a person with a disability a tricycle is far more than recreation; an adaptive tricycle is often a medical necessity for people who cannot walk independently or who sit in a wheelchair for long hours.
The therapeutic benefits of cycling:
• Lower extremity strengthening
• Reciprocal leg movement pattern
• Balance skills
• Using visual-spatial perception for steering
• Social interaction with peers and neighbors
The benefits of using the Adaptive Tricycle:
• Tool-free adjustments
• Components such as the trunk support system, caregiver brake and rear steering handle customize the tricycle to your child's or client's needs

One Chair, Many Lives
Therapists around the world tell us the Activity Chair is perfect for clients with feeding, speech therapy, active learning and sensory processing challenges. And not only that — parents see what it can do for their child in the classroom and realize how much they need it at home, too.
Benefits:
Tool-free adjustments while the client is in the Activity Chair. A wide range of optional components is available to build an adaptive chair that provides customized active seating for your client — from a client with autism to one with more complex physical challenges such as cerebral palsy (in early intervention, school, home, rehab or daily routines).
Two Chair Base Options:
The hi/lo base for easy transfers, optimal positioning and instant access to any activity. The standard base for regular classroom use, ideal for students with autism who need to calm themselves through self-produced movement (self-stimulation).

Lift. Ambulate. Transfer.
The TRAM is a transfer and mobility device designed to deliver three powerful functions in one compact unit: gait training, sit-to-stand transfers and seated transfers.
The TRAM offers far more benefit than a standard patient lift, at a remarkably low price.
Benefits:
• An ultra-light, compact frame that is easy to maneuver in tight spaces.
• Intuitive controls and adjustments that make it easy for a single caregiver to operate.
• A body support system that eliminates any lifting by the caregiver, reducing back strain and workplace injuries.
• A 350 lb weight capacity and a powerful battery drive capable of over 70 lifts on a single charge.
• An optional built-in scale that lets you weigh your client while performing a routine transfer.
Capable of lifting and transferring clients of different abilities and body types, the TRAM features an innovative, patented support system that secures the client with two rear belts and safety buckles. This allows the caregiver to quickly prepare the client for a safe transfer. Weighing just over 70 lbs, the TRAM's compact, ultra-light frame maneuvers in small or enclosed spaces and is easy to transport and store. Quickly adopted by multiple caregivers, the TRAM's smart engineering significantly reduces back strain and stress, creating a smarter, safer environment for staff.

Versatile and Powerful.
The E-Pacer is the biggest member of the Pacer family. Its sit-to-stand function removes the major barrier to gait training with larger or highly dependent clients.
The E-Pacer combines the TRAM's powerful electric lift column and secure body support with the essential gait-training features of the classic Pacer. The result is more than the sum of its parts. The E-Pacer can be a life-changing solution for clients who have grown too large or too dependent to be safely transferred into manual gait trainers. Its strong, sturdy frame accommodates users up to 6' 5" and 350 lbs.
Benefits:
• Zero-lift transfers: The E-Pacer can perform the sit-to-stand transfer that is part of every gait-training session without any lifting by the caregiver.
• Gait training with extra stability: The E-Pacer's strong, sturdy frame provides safety for heavier or taller clients.
• Seat-to-seat transfers: Attach the thigh straps to the E-Pacer's body support system and use the E-Pacer to move a client from a wheelchair to a mat table or another surface for therapy.
• Extendable legs: Widen the base legs for clients who need extra stepping width or to get closer to a wheelchair before a transfer.
• Height range: The 26" adjustment range of the E-Pacer's electric lift column provides excellent versatility for use with clients in different situations.
• Built-in scale: The optional Bluetooth-equipped scale and the Gait Tracker mobile app measure the load on the body support, allowing caregivers to track a client's weight-bearing over time. Available for Android and iOS devices.
